The Creatresse

I adopted the moniker Creatresse because of my passion for creativity. Growing up in Haiti, I learned how to create portraiture from an encyclopedia series in my parents small library collection. Since that day, learning and creativity has been forever linked.

When I attended the Rhode Island School of Design, I learned the value of collaboration. I learned that to be successful as a creative, you not only had to develop your skills as individuals, but it was as important to cultivate relationships and connections, share ideas and be open to critique.

Inspired by Chicago’s founder, Jean Baptiste Pointe du Sable, who shared the same Haitian origin as me, I felt called to move to this vibrant city on faith alone. Despite not knowing anyone in the city, I stayed open to forming new connections which lead me to start a career at Leo Burnett.

My insatiable desire to learn and collaborate has continued to lead me down many paths on my creative journey and has made me determined to gain mastery in all her forms of expression.
